The Key Laboratory of Particle and Radiation Imaging of Ministry of Education is one of the key disciplines supported by the World Bank loan. It was built in 1989 and completed in 1996. The main research directions are particle physics and nuclear physics, accelerator physics and applications, radiation imaging technology, medical physics and engineering.
