One new position will be specifically engaged in the research and teaching activities in the field of public safety. The opening is for tenure track assistant professor or associate professor.

Job responsibility:

1. Research and teaching activities in the field of public safety, focusing on public safety modeling, accident and disaster simulation, risk assessment, and the theoretically fundamental research and teaching of public safety;

2. Participating in public service.

Requirements:

1. Doctoral degree in safety engineering/nuclear science and technology, or another relevant discipline; experience in post-doctoral research in a university or academic institution, or experience in a formal position in a university or academic institution;

2. Have more than 5 years research experience in public safety modeling, accident and disaster simulation, risk assessment and other related topics, and have outstanding scientific research achievements;

3. Have proven teaching experience or potential, and have a high competence in teaching and supervising students at stages, e.g. undergraduate and graduate levels.

1. At least 3 letters of recommendation;
