The students of TUNEM who on campus visited the History Museum of Tsinghua University on 24th of February with the head teacher of the TUNEM program, Professor Yu Jiyang, and associated supporting staffs of the academic program.

Led by the tour guide, the students were given an in-depth understanding of the historical evolution of Tsinghua University. Throughout the visit, the students gained a comprehensive understanding of the founding of Tsinghua University, its unwavering perseverance under various challenges, as well as its present development trajectory.

During touring the museum, the students were deeply impressed by the school motto of Tsinghua University, 'Self-Discipline and Social Commitment,' as well as its school spirit of 'Actions Speak Louder Than Words.' This experience not only enriched the students' historical knowledge of Tsinghua University but also expanded their comprehension of Tsinghua University’s philosophical tenet.

Majority of the TUNEM program students have returned to campus. In order to enrich their educational and cultural experiences, the program has devised a series of cultural immersion and practical visit activities that will be implemented throughout the 2022-23-2 academic year. The visit was the first activity in this lineup.
