主要从事高亮度电子束的产生、操控、诊断及应用方面的研究,主要包括:

1. 光阴极微波电子枪的研制,包括电子枪电磁仿真、热力学仿真、加工工艺等;

2. 半导体光阴极的制备、测量和关键物理问题研究,从阴极寿命、量子效率、热发射度三个维度对阴极性能进行优化;

3. 高亮度电子束束流动力学的研究,主要包括束流传输的理论、模拟方法和实验技术的研究,束流发射度的优化、先进束流压缩技术等;

4. 高亮度电子束的应用研究,包括超快电子衍射技术、汤姆逊散射源技术、自由电子激光技术等。
